On 14 August, HCSA SPIN was invited to the NUS Graduate Diploma in Social Work Graduation & Awards 2024 🏆 We’re honoured to receive the Appreciation Award 2024, recognising our fifth year of support to NUS social work students in their field education.
Jeanne Lin, our Senior Social Worker, provides clinical supervision to NUS social work students during their internship placement at SPIN — offering them real-world experience as a social worker and integration of theory with practice through on-the-job training.
Our heartbeat is to nurture the next generation of user-centric social workers and uplift the ethics of the profession. We guide the students in applying classroom knowledge to field practice, provide them a conducive environment to discuss their learning points and difficulties, and provide feedback on their skills and casework management, so that our social work interns can grow in their competencies and flourish in their chosen vocation.
