🌱✨ HCSA Dayspring: A Sanctuary of Healing & Hope ✨🌱
On 9 September, we celebrated a pivotal milestone: the official opening of HCSA Dayspring, now Singapore’s only co-located Therapeutic Group Home and Small Group Care Home for teenage girls — supporting up to 27 young lives at a time. 💜
The opening was graced by Mdm Halimah Yacob, who planted a lemon tree 🍋🌳 in Eden, the therapeutic garden — symbolising resilience, transformation, and the promise of growth even from bitter beginnings. 🌸
We also witnessed an uplifting moment as Mr Eric Chua led the sealing of an SG60 time capsule, filled with heartfelt messages of hope 💌 that will be opened in 2035 — a lasting reminder of faith in the journey ahead. Mr Alex Yeo was also in attendance, as we brought our Guest of Honour and Special Guests on a tour around our residential treatment centre.
At HCSA Dayspring, our trauma-informed approach goes beyond residential care. From a peaceful environment to therapy sessions and community partnerships, everything centres on healing, rebuilding trust, and nurturing brighter futures. 💪💖
💬 As Ms Dominique Choy, Board President and Founding Chair of the Dayspring Management Committee, shared: “This home is more than a shelter — it is a promise that no girl will have to walk her journey alone.”
Here’s to building a garden of hope 🌷, one resilient girl at a time.
