Kim Lang Khalil

Board Advisor

Kim Lang Khalil serves as Board Advisor of HCSA Community Services, bringing decades of experience across education, pastoral ministry and the social service sector. She previously served as HCSA’s Chief Executive Officer and Group Head, Services & Impact, where she helped steward the organisation’s mission of empowering vulnerable individuals and families towards renewed purpose and hope.

Kim Lang graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore and a Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education. Her first profession was as an educator in a Singapore secondary school. She later received training in Family Life Education, pursued a Master of Divinity, and served for many years as a Pastor in a local church.

After joining the social service sector, Kim Lang led the women and children’s pillar under HCSA Dayspring for almost ten years. During this time, she further equipped herself with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Work and was accredited as a Registered Social Worker. Under her leadership, HCSA Dayspring’s residential treatment centre was recognised by the Ministry of Social and Family Development as Singapore’s first therapeutic group home for girls, supporting teenage girls who have experienced complex trauma.

In her role as Board Advisor, Kim Lang continues to lend her wisdom, sector experience and purpose-driven leadership to support HCSA Community Services as it gives a future and a hope to vulnerable individuals and families.
