Janice holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is both a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with CPA Australia. 

With over 29 years of experience in Controllership and Shared Services across various multi-national corporations, Janice is a seasoned finance professional recognised for her collaborative leadership and operational excellence. Throughout her career, she has consistently delivered comprehensive financial solutions in areas including financial accounting and reporting, planning and analysis, payroll, taxation, audit compliance, and financial systems implementation. 

Prior to her current role, Janice spent a decade with AbbVie, a global pharmaceutical leader, as Regional Accounting Manager. She was a key member of AbbVie’s Asia Pacific finance pioneer team, instrumental in establishing the region’s financial reporting processes and building a high-performing finance team. Over the years, she drove continuous improvements and system implementations, earning recognition for her contributions through various growth opportunities and awards. In her last role at AbbVie, she managed U.S. and local financial reporting for seven countries in the Asia Pacific region. 

Currently serving as Deputy Director of Finance at HCSA Community Services, Janice hopes to bring her wealth of expertise to the non-profit sector. Her focus is on collaborating with her colleagues to enhance financial operations and contribute meaningfully to the organisation’s mission of supporting the vulnerable and strengthening the community.
