π±β¨ HCSA Dayspring: A Sanctuary of Healing & Hope β¨π±
On 9 September, we celebrated a pivotal milestone: the official opening of HCSA Dayspring, now Singaporeβs only co-located Therapeutic Group Home and Small Group Care Home for teenage girls β supporting up to 27 young lives at a time. π
The opening was graced by Mdm Halimah Yacob, who planted a lemon tree ππ³ in Eden, the therapeutic garden β symbolising resilience, transformation, and the promise of growth even from bitter beginnings. πΈ
We also witnessed an uplifting moment as Mr Eric Chua led the sealing of an SG60 time capsule, filled with heartfelt messages of hope π that will be opened in 2035 β a lasting reminder of faith in the journey ahead. Mr Alex Yeo was also in attendance, as we brought our Guest of Honour and Special Guests on a tour around our residential treatment centre.
At HCSA Dayspring, our trauma-informed approach goes beyond residential care. From a peaceful environment to therapy sessions and community partnerships, everything centres on healing, rebuilding trust, and nurturing brighter futures. πͺπ
π¬ As Ms Dominique Choy, Board President and Founding Chair of the Dayspring Management Committee, shared: βThis home is more than a shelter β it is a promise that no girl will have to walk her journey alone.β
Hereβs to building a garden of hope π·, one resilient girl at a time.
