Everesting for Second Chances

Support our ex-offenders in their reintegration journey

Ever thought about conquering Mount Everest on a bike?

This June 2023, get ready to gear up and ride for a good cause!

HCSA Community Services will be organising Everesting for Second Chances, the first-ever national Everesting challenge supported by National Volunteer And Philanthropy Centre, Singapore Cycling Federation, Singapore Prison Service and Yellow Ribbon Singapore. This campaign aims to raise funds in support of the rehabilitative work done by HCSA Highpoint Halfway House (HCSA Highpoint), a programme under HCSA Community Services, in reintegrating ex-offenders.

Everesting for Second Chances will see cycling enthusiasts and athletes challenge themselves and cycle an elevation gain of 8,848m – equivalent to the height of Mount Everest – virtually or physically. A physical one-day-only event will be graced by Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Faishal, Minister of State for Ministry of Home Affairs on 1 July 2023.

Keen to be part of the cycling challenge? Push your limits and make an impact today! Registration starts on 01 June 2023.
As part of Everesting For Second Chances, we also seek sponsors to help us fundraise our goal of $250,000 and positively impact the lives of our ex-offender beneficiaries we serve. We hope to count on your support!
