SINGAPORE, 24 November 2023 – HCSA Community Services is deeply honoured to have been among the select 80 charities conferred the Charity Transparency Award 2023 on 21 November 2023.
Presented by the Charity Council, this award recognises charities that have adopted good disclosure practices and met the qualifying standards for the year, under the Charity Transparency Framework (CTF).
The Charity Transparency Award is an unprecedented achievement for HCSA Community Services as it marks a significant milestone in HCSA’s organisational journey towards accountability and transparency to their beneficiaries, and donors.
This reinforces HCSA’s dedication towards prioritising the needs of the individuals they serve –
ex-offenders, single parents, lone caregivers, as well as teenage girls who have experienced complex trauma from abuse and/or neglect.
“This award is an indicator of our credibility in gaining the public trust and confidence in the way we use our funds and resources – to deliver our services to the vulnerable among us, giving them a future and a hope.” said Mrs Kim Lang Khalil, CEO for HCSA Community Services.
“We thank our community of donors, supporters and partners for their confidence and continued trust in our endeavours. We will strive to continuously improve, seeking to better serve our beneficiaries at every step.”
