Johnson is a volunteer at HCSA who runs baking sessions for single-parent families in our SPIN programme. Being an engineer by training, Johnson’s hobby is completely different from his profession.

Today, Feroz is the lead member of HCSA Highpoint's A.I.M Society, where he volunteers his time every week to share his experience with their support group.

With a network of befrienders (who may be single parents themselves) and volunteers, HCSA Dayspring SPIN is able to provide emotional and practical support to single parents.

HCSA Dayspring SPIN has supported this single mum with child-minding, skills upgrading and even refurbishing of her house, to give her hopes and dreams for the future.

As we appreciate and celebrate social work professionals in March, 3 social work staff at HCSA Community Services share their experiences serving our society.
